what should i wear to an acupuncture session?

Acupuncture points are found all over the body, so loose and layered clothing is a great idea, but however you show up is just fine.

how much do sessions cost & what forms of payment do you take?

I offer a range of pricing options because I believe everyone should have access to this medicine. Tiered pricing is available for all in-studio sessions, and I also offer Your Community Acu which brings down the price.

I currently accept credit cards and e-transfers for payment. There is no HST on acupuncture in Ontario.

do you do direct billing to private insurance?

Registered Acupuncture is covered by many private health plans in Ontario, but I’m not yet set up to do direct billing.

Do you have gift certificates?

As an acupuncturist in Ontario I am not allowed to offer gift certificates or other pre-paid arrangements.

needles make me nervous - should i bother trying acupuncture?

The sterile single-use needles we use are extremely fine (not like needles for drawing blood or vaccines!) I also offer other modalities like cupping, gua-sha and tuina (massage) if you decide needles just aren’t for you.
